All our sharpening equipment and support accessories are imported from the United States.
In addition, we have designed an innovative, bespoke Profile Linisher machine which hits the correct angle every time. These two machines combined with our best practice techniques produce the perfect finish every time.
We sharpen and service all Shears – Bevel – Convex – Curved – Thinners.
- We always test cut your shears before doing any work on them.
- Shears are then carefully disassembled while looking for any imperfections.
- All parts are then thoroughly cleaned before we start the sharpening process.
- We use the best quality Japanese Ceramic Whetstones to restore your ride line.
- We then confirm the exact angle of your shears – As set by the manufacturer.
- Sharpening is completed on our two specialist machines.
- We then reassemble replacing any worn parts.
- Your shears are then De-Magnetized.
- Were big on small details. Our shear lubrication is a formula created with alcohol & wax. The alcohol will evaporate and leave a protective wax coating on your shears providing extra protection and a very smooth smooth action. (You should not use oil based lubricants)
- The shears tension is reset so they are ready for work again.
- Final process is test cutting to ensure your shears are perfect.
