We use the best Scissor Sharpening Machine available in the Industry. It’s called a Quad Profile Linisher – It’s Next level compared to traditional machines on the market. It reprofiles the internal ride lines and cutting edges of your scissors better than ant machine on the Planet. Our other support Machine is from the USA and the combination of these two machines restores beautiful edges from standard Bevel to High End Groomers & Hairdressers Scissors.

We sharpen and service all Shears – Bevel – Convex – Curved – Thinners.
- We inspect your scissors looking for any potential issues
- They are placed in our sonic cleaner for 15 minutes at 60 Degrees
- We check the “Blade Set” before disassembling
- We then dis-assemble, label & place in your work tray
- We mark the ride line area with a red sharpie to use as a witness line when restoring the internal ride line
- The ride lines are then restored to factory standard using our Quad Profile Linisher
- Sharpen cutting edges on our Linisher
- Blades are then de-burred to remove any fine steel fragments
- We de-magnetize the blades
- The blades are then buffed using a diamond compound spray
- We hand finish the edge using a Leather Strop & French Rouge
- Scissors get their final clean, worn parts replaced are re-assembled
- We apply our Wax & Alcohol based Scissor Lube (oil should not be used)
- Final task is test cutting to confirm they are 100% ready for work
